HOME OF HOPE

     Home of Hope at Gwinnett Children's Shelter is a non profit organization that provides care and services to homeless children and their young mothers. Along with shelter, Home of Hope works with the mothers to set up a plan of action to regain independence.

     North Gwinnett Kiwanis Club has enjoyed a long relationship with the shelter. The needs of Home of Hope can vary depending upon the time of year. Christmas of 2018 our club organized a drive to replenish the shelter's supply of Christmas Decorations. Our After Dark Club members then spent an evening utilizing the donated decorations to "Deck the Halls" of the homes onsite.

     Also in 2018 our very own Jeanne White was able to present Home of Hope with a $25,000 assist grant through State Farm.
